The village will be close to local supermarkets, the existing Mernda shopping village and the Mernda Town Centre currently under development. Summerset Mernda offers easy access to main roads, bus and train services, including the recently completed Mernda railway station. Two golf courses are close by as are many parks.

Our village will offer a continuum of care. This ensures that as your needs change, we will offer a range of care and support on-site to suit you. If you need to move home to receive more care, then as a resident you will have priority access to the care home (subject to availability and eligibility criteria).
