Why choose Summerset
What makes Summerset different
Summerset was founded on a deep respect for our residents, putting them at the heart of everything we do. With a range of homes and activities there’s something for everyone and if your needs change you can be reassured we offer support and care onsite. When you move to a Summerset village, you’re not just moving house – you’re joining a community. And we think that’s pretty special.
We are proud to have been operating villages since 1997 and have over 7,000 residents calling Summerset home, scoring us an average of 96% satisfaction our annual survey. A call bell system is monitored on site 24/7 and security gates locked at night so you can always feel secure. With no hidden charges you have financial surety and our Summerset Sure guarantee means you'll have 90 days to be sure your new home is right for you, and if not – we'll give you your money back (some conditions apply).
With our continuum of care you can rest assured that if your needs change, our dedicated and professional staff offer a range of care and living options. Services can be provided in your villa or serviced apartment through to personalised care in care suites in our modern care home. We also provide dementia care in our dementia households where residents with dementia can live with freedom of movement and independence. You can be reassured that residents have priority for transfer, subject to availability.
At Summerset the choices are all yours to do as much or as little as you choose. From the range of homes to the extensive activities and events on offer. Your pets are welcome after a quick check with the village manager, and friends and family are welcome for short stays. We maintain your home so you are free to spend more time doing what you love.
Summerset villages are communities where you can make new friends and socialise with like-minded people, while also welcoming family and friends. Whether it is enjoying a coffee in the café, a drink at happy hour in the bar and lounge or tinkering in the resident’s workshop there is always a strong sense of community.
