Retirement Living Code of Conduct

Summerset are proud signatories of the Retirement Living Code of Conduct which is setting a new level of standards across Retirement Communities in Australia. As a signatory, we are committed to providing and maintaining high standards for our residents and ensuring everything we do adheres to the code.

The code has been developed by retirement living operators, working with residents, and endorsed by the Property Council of Australia and Leading Age Services Australia (LASA), which aims to improve standards across the industry and promotes and protects the interests of current and future residents.

The Code covers all aspects of a residents’ experience in a retirement village: from signing the contract and moving into the retirement village, the village life experience, to leaving a village and re-selling the home, unit or apartment.
