Welcome to the second issue of Summerset Scene! Our cover stars Lesley and Doug Hutchinson talk to us about their charity involvement and life as the very first residents of Summerset Australia. We meet Gerry and Fenna Schadee van Dooren, also from Summerset Cranbourne North. Internationally renowned author Joy Cowley, from Summerset Bishopscourt in New Zealand, talks marriage and polar bears, and we chat with a satirical cartoonist from Summerset Rototuna in NZ’s Waikato.
Volume One
Welcome to the first Australian issue of Summerset Scene! While we wait for our Australian residents to move in, this issue showcases some of our New Zealand residents who are living the best of life in their Summerset villages. The cover features rock n’ roll dancers Brenda and Dennis Neil from Summerset on Cavendish in Christchurch, who never met a dancefloor they didn’t like. We also meet an award-winning photographer from Summerset in the Lake in Taupo, an avid tennis player from Summerset in the Sun in Nelson, and a satirical cartoonist from Summerset Rototuna in the Waikato.
