"I just feel like I've blossomed."

"One of the first things that caught my attention when I came in was I was walking into the cafe and Anna (Village Operations Manager) was there with a brush and pan, cleaning up crumbs off the floor and making the place tidy." 

"There were other people around that could have done that for her, but I just looked at that and went, 'That is so nice.'" 

For Carol, that simple act reflected the culture she now sees every day throughout the village. 

"The Summerset staff are wonderful. Everybody's doing their best to put a smile on your face. They do everything they can to make sure the world goes round as it should. That makes me feel cared for."
